Billing & Payment

We participate with many insurance providers. We encourage you to confirm our participation in the plan’s network by calling the member services number located on your card or checking your insurance companies website.  We also ask that you list South Hills Family Medicine as your Primary Care Physician when you call.

Many insurance providers require patients to pay for a portion of their care. Copayments are due at the time of service. 

Once your claim has been filed, you may be responsible for additional amounts of deductibles, co-insurances or non-covered items/services.  We will bill you for any remaining balances after your claim has been processed and request that you make payment or payment arrangements.

For uninsured patients, we offer discounts for prompt payment based on your circumstances. Please contact the billing office for more information.
